Where possible we use local produce from our local butchers and farm shops. Our hearty farmhouse breakfast can set you up for a day enjoying the beauty of the lakes and fells, packed lunches can be made to order and you can enjoy lovely homemade evening meals freshly prepared ready for your return.
After a great day out walking, touring sightseeing or simply relaxing in a quiet corner you will enjoy returning to our comfortable rooms and to sit by a woodburning stove in the cosy oak beamed sitting room and to plan your next day.
Our guests have use of their own fully fitted kitchen where they can prepare their own packups, snacks and own evening meals if preferred.
