From the 24th of July we will be open for camping once more, we have carried out appropriate risk assessments in line with government guidelines and will be working hard to ensure we all STAY SAFE.
In order for campsites to be able to offer enough space for people to meet the physical-distancing rules, the number of campers on site will be limited this year.
BOOKINGS ONLY – DO NOT turn up to the Lakes without a booking, you will most likely be disappointed.
We will not be taking ANY group bookings.
We have all worked hard during lock down to stay safe, and now restrictions are lifting it is all the more important remain alert.
- Please carefully plan your trip and consider ways to reduce the pressure on shared facilities,
- Help support and protect local communities and businesses ..
- Always maintain social distancing , STAY ALERT and act responsibly towards others and help ensure everyone can enjoy a safe stay and enjoy a well-earned holiday.
Ways you can help us all STAY SAFE while staying at Gill Head Farm.
Bag and Tie all rubbish, use bottle and can recycle bins, do not leave any loose rubbish in the bin area. The less we have to handle it the better.
Those with seasonal touring pitches, motorhomes and caravans with all own on-board facilities, please use them as much as possible to reduce the pressure on the restricted shared facilities, assist social distancing and therefore significantly reduce the risk of infection for you and others.
Teeth brushing: where possible please do this back at your pitch.
Keep washrooms areas clean, and spend as little time as you can in them. Max 4 persons at a time, we expect you to self-regulate with this and act responsibly, this is for everyone’s safety, be patient and considerate.
Perhaps plan to bring own wash facilities or toilet tents for your pitch, you will not be charged for this and again, reduced risk for you and others.
Make use of sanitisers located around the site and facilities. Especially each time you enter and leave the site.
Keep to 1m+ at all times
Now, more than ever, we expect all campers to observe the site quiet times 10.30pm – 8am, (this has been a stressful time for us all!) This is non-negotiable.
Failure to consider the safety and wellbeing of others and assist with these requests will result with you being asked to leave, no refunds will be given .
By sticking to these simple guidelines, you can all help to keep our campsites open for a summer of safe, socially-distanced camping.
Happy Holidays !! x
